We Value Meaningful Contribution
We proudly support the enrichment of the community in which we work and live by offering ongoing financial and volunteer support for excellent organizations including:
Texas Fire Fighters Home (2023)
The mission of the Texas Fire Fighters Home (TFFH) is to provide short-term housing at little or no cost to firefighters and other first-responders while they are undergoing treatment at The Texas Medical Center.
Firefighters have occupational risks from exposure to toxins and hazardous chemicals. As a result, firefighters suffer illnesses, particularly cancers, at a statistically higher rate than the average population. Specialized treatment for these illnesses often requires an extended stay near the Texas Medical Center. The cost of hotels and short-time housing for patients and their families coming to Houston for such treatment can be crippling and health insurance usually does not cover lodging expenses. That's where TFFH comes in.
Mercy Ministry (2022)
The Mercy Ministry is outreach to both those in our community and throughout the world. The ministry comes together as a faith community to help individuals and families in need. Approximately 45,000 people annually are assisted, with the help of around 450 volunteers serving in our 22 different programs and services.
Local Charities (2022)
In our local community and across the state of Texas, we have experienced some tragedy this year. We wanted to partner with two causes for the Collins Family and the families of Uvalde making donations to help these families near to us and across Texas.
