What Sets CFPs Apart?

The Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation is reserved for those financial planners who have met the demanding education, examination, experience, and ethical requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

You trust your financial planner with your future. It’s important to choose a planner whose qualifications and experience you trust. At Robare & Jones, all of our asset managers have earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) through:

Education

CFP® professionals must complete a comprehensive course of study at an approved college or university.

Examination

Certification requires a comprehensive two-day, 10-hour CFP® Certification Examination.

Experience

Three years minimum experience in the financial planning process is required to be a CFP®.

Ethics

Each Certified Financial Planner® agrees to abide by a strict code of professional conduct.
